A truly eye opening experience for me. Seeing the poor here taught me to be grateful for what I have. Despite having so little, these people have shown me that we don't need a lot to be happy. I've learnt that even the little we do can go a long way for the people we help. I'm thankful I decided to join this trip and glad my parents supported me. It will be a memorable trip for years to come.

EAEL has really helped my sons

Through all these years of formation that my sons received, they have grown to be competent and responsible young men. They also developed a sense of generosity and kindness in helping others in need as they embarked on various social service projects. My sons have also developed strong and long lasting friendship through the activities organised by EAEL. I am very grateful to all the people who have helped to organise all the activities all these years.

Wonderful Saturday Gatherings

On my first visit to Ravenahl I immediately felt embraced by its warm and welcoming environment. One of the highlights for me is the Saturday evening gatherings. These special moments allow us to come together in prayer, enjoy a delicious meal and have conversations in the wonderful company of students. I’m very grateful to have become part of this incredible group and for all the joy and connection it has brought into my life in Singapore. Obrigado! 🇵🇹

It was a very good experience

The retreat was very conducive to recentre myself on what was truly important. The quiet surroundings, together with all the books for spiritual reading, provided an environment that is hard to find in Singapore. Many people work and pray hard so that the retreat runs smoothly too, from Opus Dei members to the ladies who silently cook for all the retreat members. Thank you all for organising valuable retreats like this.
